Dramatic moment assassins target Philippines mayor's life with an RPG

Dramatic CCTV footage in Shariff Aguak, Maguindanao del Sur, shows the rocket attack on the vehicle of Mayor Akmad Mitra Ampatuan, who was travelling with several security personnel. The footage shows a black car carrying the mayor slowly moving along a road as two assassins quickly exit a white car on the opposite side of the street. The assailants - one armed with with an RPG on his shoulder, the caryring a machine gun - suddenly launched their attack on the mayor's vehicle, producing a loud explosion.
