Locksmith caught charging '10 times his original quote' making lock cost over 2K

The BBC recorded themselves catching a locksmith who 'charges locked-out families up to 10 times his original quote.' One elderly couple had to pay nearly £3,000 in total to get their door fixed. The filming happened as part of a BBC investigation into "bait-and-switch scams", which see customers lured in with an initial cheap quote before hidden charges and unnecessary work are added.
