Minister Steve Reed warns Lord Mandelson must 'account' for Epstein links

Lord Mandelson is facing fresh pressure over his links to Jeffrey Epstein today amid claims the paedophile financier gave him $75,000 while he was an MP. A Cabinet minister has warned the New Labour architect must explain his actions after the latest massive US drop of files relating to Epstein raised more questions. They include images of bank statements suggesting that Lord Mandelson received two payments of $25,000 in June 2004, and was listed as a beneficiary for another $25,000 sent to his partner.
