Alicia Silverstone saves life of pregnant dog and puppies before euthanasia

Alicia Silverstone forwarded the heartbreaking Facebook post to Helen Woodward Animal Center CEO Mike Arms, telling NBC 7 San Diego: 'Her face was just so beautiful and lovely, and so I thought, "Call Mike."' Arms quickly enlisted his staff at the Rancho Santa Fe Center to rescue the then-pregnant pooch, who immediately gave birth to 14 puppies 'within minutes of their arrival' but sadly two did not make it.
