Mayor Zohran Mamdani addressed the NYPD shooting of a schizophrenic man in crisis. A witness called the police after 22-year-old Jabez Chakraborty started experiencing a mental health crisis. Officers on patrol answered the call and upon entering the house, Chakraborty approached them with a knife.
