The factory was uncovered after a squad of eight officers from Rotherham Central Neighbouring Policing Team (NPT) stormed the warehouse under a warrant on Thames Street in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, on January 30.Some 761 plants were seized at the property, with a street value of around £1,000 per plant, making the cannabis factory worth approximately £761,000- and marking it one of South Yorkshire's biggest cannabis raids.
