Gang of thieves steal £5,000 of golf trophies in smash-and-grab raid

Golf clubs across England are being warned to stay vigilant after it emerged crooks are targeting trophy cabinets - because of increases in the price of silver. Two golf clubs in Kent were recently targeted within days of one another, whilst police forces in other parts of the country have issued warnings about similar thefts.
