Cabinet ministers rally round Kier Starmer as Sarwar calls for him to quit

Prime Minister Starmer lost his seat after the dissent gre out of proportion over him appointing Peter Mandelson as US Ambassador. Starmer was rocked when the Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar dramatically called on him to resign for the good of the country in the wake of the Mandelson scandal. Mr Sarwar, once an ally of Sir Keir, said there had been 'too many mistakes' in Downing Street.
