12-year-old boy says 'mummy' when asked who was to blame for abuse

A 12-year-old boy who was allegedly tortured and forced to drink boiling water pointed at his step-mother and said 'Mummy' when asked who to blame shortly before he died. The tragic exchange was captured on camera as the child lay in a hospital bed with catastrophic injuries. Nizam Syafei had been rushed to hospital in the early hours of February 19 in  Sukabumi, West Java, Indonesia , after suffering severe internal burns. Doctors found his oesophagus had been scalded and he died later that afternoon. His body was covered in wounds consistent with physical violence and burns, Indonesian media reported. Doctors concluded that he had suffered severe burns to his oesophagus caused by drinking scalding water.
