Alton Towers reveals opening date for new Bluey ride

British fans of Australia's famous cartoon dog, Bluey, have just a month to wait before the world's first rollercoaster themed around the animated character opens in the UK. Derbyshire theme park Alton Towers has kept fans on tenterhooks in recent months, drip-feeding details about the brand new attraction, which will be called Bluey the Ride: Here Come the Grannies! Now, it has been confirmed the ride will officially be opening next month, on March 28th, in the park's CBeebies Land. And to celebrate the new attraction, Alton Towers this week unveiled a giant portrait of Bluey made from over 11,000 cans of beans.
