Oil tanker on fire in the Strait of Hormuz amid closure by Iran

A Palau-flagged oil tanker was attacked as it passed through the Straight of Hormuz, off the coast of Oman. Four sailors were wounded in the attack and the entire crew was evacuated.Iran closed the Strait of Hormuz - one of the world's most vital oil shipping lanes that connects the major Gulf producers, such as Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq and the UAE, with the Gulf of Oman and the Arabian Sea.
