Fugitive drill rapper who went on the run is arrested in France

A video showed drill rapper Daniel Boakye dancing and taunting police while on the run. The 21-year-old, known as Dsavv, absconded from hospital and fled to France. He was detained near Nantes after more than two weeks. Boakye was due for deportation to Ghana after being jailed in July 2023 for knifepoint robberies. Police said he was arrested on suspicion of escaping custody and faced a return to the UK.
