Man arrested after stabbing of 'Iranian anti-regime protester'
A 25-year-old man has been arrested by detectives in London following a violent targeted attack in which an Iranian anti-regime protester was reportedly struck with a bottle and then stabbed. The Metropolitan Police were called to Ballards Lane in West Finchley at just after 7pm on March 7 after receiving reports of an ongoing assault. Upon arrival, officers discovered a man in his 40s suffering from stab wounds. Police administered emergency first aid at the scene before the victim was transported to a local hospital by the London Ambulance Service. Authorities have since confirmed that the victim's injuries, while serious, are considered neither life-threatening nor life-changing. A 25-year-old suspect remains in police custody after being arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
