A video circulating on X appears to show Israel's Arrow 3 missile defence system successfully intercepting an Iranian ballistic missile in space, with a bright plasma explosion marking the destruction of the incoming threat before it could re-enter Earth's atmosphere. The Arrow 3, designed for "kinetic kill" interceptions beyond the atmosphere, has demonstrated its capability amid warnings that Iranian missiles could potentially reach 'deep into Europe'. However, UK Shadow Defence Secretary Steve Reed sought to reassure the public, stating, 'I'm not aware of any assessment at all that they are even trying to target Europe, let alone that they could if they tried. But even if they did, we have the necessary military capability to defend this country,' emphasising Britain's commitment to collective defensive action across the Middle East.
