Fly-tippers dump huge mountain of illegal waste on WWII site. The mound of plastic appeared between June and August in 2022 on the Smithwood Green Airfield, near Alpheton, Suffolk.The site is close to RAF Lavenham - a former airfield used by the United States Army Air Forces, which closed in 1948.
