BBC culture editor admits she spent 'far too many' days on their ongoing crises
The BBC's culture and media editor has admitted she has been forced to cover crises at the broadcaster 'too many times' after Scott Mills was abruptly sacked over allegations into his personal conduct. Katie Razzall appeared on BBC News last night just hours after shocked staff were told he had been axed from his Β£355,000-a-year job on Radio 2 over aΒ 'historic male relationship from more than ten years ago'. Jeremy Vine was also forced to awkwardly address Mr Mills's sacking on his own daytime radio show just minutes after he found out the news himself. The veteran broadcaster admitted he was 'taken aback' by Mr Mills's sacking after only learning of it shortly before he went on air.
