Scott Mills' Radio 2 stand-in Gary Davies doesn't mention sacked colleague

Gary Davies opened the Radio 2 Breakfast Show with no mention of sacked colleague Scott Mills. Mills was hauled off air after a 'tense meeting' with BBC bosses over his 'personal conduct'. The allegations against Mills are thought to date back a decade to his time on Radio 1. Davies stepped into host the show and is scheduled to host for at least the next week. Davies started off with the BBC as a Radio 1 DJ, often presenting Top of the Pops in the eighties.
