Woman steals 320 Cadbury's Creme Eggs from garden centre in daylight raid
Video captured the moment a brazen chocolate thief strolled out of a garden centre armed with 320 Cadbury's Creme eggs. Leah Harding, 37, stole 64 boxes of the sweet treat from the Barn Garden Centre in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire on February 13.CCTV footage shows her walking slowly out of the store with a large pink and blue bag, accompanied by a male companion. The chocolate heist took place on the same day Harding paid a visit to Dobbies Garden Centre in Hampton - where she there stole bottles of spirits worth Β£300. Harding, of no known address, finished off her crime spree by stealing alcohol and cheese on three occasions from the Co-op, in Eye - before her eventual arrest on March 18. On Friday March 27 at Peterborough Magistrates' Court, she was jailed for 41 weeks after admitting five counts of theft from a shop.
