Gregg Wallace attempts food show comeback with TikTok 'cookathon'

Gregg Wallace appears to have made an attempt to relaunch his career on social media as he gears up to host a 12-hour TikTok 'cookathon' sponsored by 'Britain's favourite halal butchers'. The ex-MasterChef host, 61, who was dismissed by the BBC last July following a probe into 83 historical allegations of workplace misconduct, 45 of which were upheld, is taking part in a 12-hour 'cookathon' with Malik Butchers. Wallace is set to collaborate with the Wolverhampton business, which describes itself as 'Britain's favourite halal butchers' as well as the home of the 'UK's most expensive halal sarnie', on Sunday.
