Artemis II crew enters the moon's 'sphere of influence'. The astronauts reported they had reached the turning point between rising from the Earth and falling to the Moon, known as the 'sphere of influence'. So far, the 685,000-mile (1.1 million km) round trip to the dark side of the moon and back has gone relatively smoothly.
