How Russia's oil tankers change identities to avoid being tracked

In January 2026, we started tracking an oil tanker off the coast of Scotland. It was called Bella 1, but that wasn't its real identity. The name had changed, the flag had changed, and the ownership trail kept shifting. Most recently, it was calling itself the Marinera. That's when you realise you're not looking at a normal ship, you're looking at one that doesn't want to be followed.
