Chinese tanker and vessel make U-turns after going through the Strait of Hormuz

A Chinese oil tanker and another vessel made U-turns after passing through the Strait of Hormuz amid rising tensions in the region. The tanker Rich Starry, which had already been targeted by US sanctions for transporting Iranian crude, crossed the narrow waterway before reversing course. Another Iran-linked ship, the Christianna, also went through the strait and then turned back. The movements came after Donald Trump announced that the US Navy would block all ships attempting to enter or leave the Strait of Hormuz, escalating the conflict and tightening restrictions on maritime traffic in the area.
