China's humanoid half-marathon falls flat as robots go berserk and crash

China's robot half-marathon fell flat after humanoids suffered a series of malfunctions.The second edition of the mishap-riddled race took place in Beijing's E-Town.In strange scenes, 'fallen' robots were carried away on stretchers by event staff.It came as a robot by phone maker Honor broke the human marathon record.The 'advanced' humanoid finished the 21 kilometre race in 50 minutes and 26 seconds.It was several minutes faster than the world record set by Ugandan runner Jacob Kiplimo.
