Selfless Boston marathon runners help collapsed rival finish race

The two selfless runners who helped an exhausted rival over the finish line of the Boston Marathon are being praised for their humanity in the days following the race's 130th running.Nearing the finish on Monday in Boston, British runner Aaron Beggs and fellow competitor Robson De Oliveira came across Ajay Haridasse, who had collapsed on the course only to try and fail to regain his feet four times.'After falling down the fourth time, I was getting ready to crawl,' Haridasse later told the Boston Herald.With Haridasse battling severe cramps, Beggs - a member of North Down Athletic Club in Northern Ireland - took it upon himself to help the struggling marathoner. The problem was, Beggs didn't have the strength to keep Haridasse upright on his own.Noticing the problem, De Oliveira stepped in and helped to support Haridasse. And with Beggs and De Oliveira now supporting Haridasse, the trio managed to complete the final few blocks of the race down Boylston Street.
