Brighton plan Europe's first purpose-built £80m women's stadium. A Premier League football club have announced plans for Europe's first purpose-built women's football stadium in an £80million project aimed at families. Brighton and Hove Albion FC confirmed the 10,000-seater ground will be located at Bennett's Field, a site next to the men's American Express Stadium in Falmer. Club officials said the stadium, which it aims to open for the 2030/21 season, will be 'designed to be especially welcoming for families and first-time attendees'.
