Police arrest 'fraudster who stole £500k from Johnny Depp without him realising'
A Jordanian fraud suspect has been arrested after he allegedly used Johnny Depp's bank card and splashing out on £500,000 worth of items. But the Pirates of the Caribbean actor, 62, was reportedly unaware of the extortionate sum leaking from his bank account for over two years until his bank flagged the transactions as suspicious. Investigators traced the online transactions which were linked to a high-profile American bank client and arrested the man who was renting a flat in Budapest, Hugary on May 6. The dramatic video shows police officers detaining the 27-year-old suspect before escorting him away in handcuffs. Hungarian investigators said the case began earlier this year when an American financial institution contacted the Hungarian branch of the FBI after discovering illegal withdrawals from an account belonging to one of their clients.
