Motorists queue in 28C to get bottled water during shortage

Motorists in Kent have had to queue up in sweltering weather to get bottle water after drinking taps ran dry. South East Water said around 18,000 households had experienced water supply disruption and the demand during the heatwave had caused it. The firm said supplies should come back on today although it could be intermittent over the weekend.
