Lebanon residents flee city amid threats of Israel strikes

Traffic filled the streets int he Dahiyeh suburbs of Beirut as thousands fled the Lebanese city. It came as Israel warned residents of attacks in the area to root out Hezbollah. However, later on Monday U.S. President Donald Trump said he had spoken to the Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu and was told the attacks would now not happen and troops pulled back.Iran has accused Israel of breaking a ceasefire in the Iranian War by continuing its offensive in Lebanon and has since pulled out of mediated talks via Pakistan. It throws the potential of a peace deal into doubt and leaves the Strait of Hormuz constricted as well.
