Brit becomes the first woman to cross the Atlantic ocean in a hydrogen balloon

A British adventurer, Alicia Hempleman-Adams, became the first woman to cross the Atlantic in a hydrogen balloon with her team, launching from Presque Isle, Maine, and landing in Bastendorf, Luxembourg after a 70-hour journey. They reached an average altitude of 14,000 feet, enduring temperatures as low as -30°C, marking the first successful transatlantic balloon flight using hydrogen as its sole lift source.
