Village invaded by thousands of starlings covering homes and cars in poo

Residents of Rearsby, Leicestershire, are facing a 'nightmare' after their homes and cars have been bombarded by tens of thousands of starlings - in scenes reminiscent of Alfred Hitchcock's classic thriller, The Birds.
