Waterloo Road: Grandmother with dementia 'deadnames' trans schoolgirl

In last Tuesday's episode of Waterloo Road, a trans schoolgirl visits her dying grandmother in her care home - and is offended when the old woman 'deadnames' her, calling her by her former male name.
