Iconic 1980s Renault 5 hot hatch to return in 2027 as £200k electric 'beast'

The French car giant has confirmed the Renault 5 Turbo will return in 2027 as the 5 Turbo 3E 'mini supercar'. Each will be hand built, predominantly carbon fibre, outrageously fast and likely cost a stellar six-figure sum.
