Construction of £2.5million mosque on the edge of the Lake District starts

Construction of a £2.5M mosque in the Lake District continues after securing extra funds. The South Lakes Islamic Centre says it will serve over 100 Muslim families who currently face a 100-mile round trip to worship. Work was at risk of stopping.
