A 29-year-old man who researched child murders including the Southport killings has been jailed for 30 years for the attempted murder of a nine-year-old girl who he stabbed three times as she was playing outside his home.Jordan Wilkes was convicted by a jury at Bournemouth Crown Court of the attack which happened in the stairwell of the flats where he lived with his mother in Glider Close, Christchurch, Dorset, on August 20 2024.
