Volodymyr Zelensky says Ukrainian troops continue to fight in Kursk and Belgorod.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said troops are continuing to fight in the Kursk and Belgorod regions in his evening address on April 27. Russian news agencies had quoted the Kremlin as saying that Russian President Vladimir Putin telephoned his top commanders in Kursk to congratulate them on "victory" and the end of the operation to expel Ukrainian forces from the region in western Russia. Russian forces for months have been pressing for the ejection of Ukrainian forces who staged a surprise cross-border incursion last August and seized swathes of territory.
