Billowing smoke soars into the sky above Paddington Station after electrical fire

A huge blaze has broken out at an electrical substation in the heart of the city centre today. Flames and billowing clouds of dark smoke were seen soaring into the sky from Victoria Passage in Aberdeen Place near Paddington this morning. A part of a neighbouring residential roof is also alight, as firefighters attempt to battle the flames from above using 32-metre turntables.
