Kemi Badenoch defends her 'slow and steady' plan after local election loss

Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch today dismissed calls for her to resign in the wake of her party's dire performance at local elections. The Tories lost more than 600 councillors and all 15 of the councils they controlled going into Thursday's contest - among the worst results in the party's history.
