Bodycam shows 'disturbing' arrest of LA woman that led to plea deal

Activists in Los Angeles have hit out at a plea deal for LA County deputy Trevor Kirk over the arrest of a woman in 2024. Deputies were called to a supermarket where the woman and a man were allegedly shoplifting, and bodycam video from the incident showed Kirk throwing the woman to the ground by her neck as he attempted to arrest her. Kirk's lawyer has now also released new surveillance video that he says helps to clear his client.
