Distraught father dragged away from dying daughters side loses lawsuit against police. Dr Rashid Abbasi was wrenched from his dying six-year-olds side shortly after being told her life support was being withdrawn. He refused to leave her, so police forcibly removed him. The NHS consultant sued the Northumbria Police, but the judge dismissed the case, saying his rights had not been violated.
