'Member of feared gang' arrested and being extradited to UK

An alleged member of a feared gang wanted over the fatal stabbing of a young man in London has been arrested near Barcelona.Spanish police said after detaining the fugitive at the request of UK authorities that he belonged to the dangerous Latin gang Trinitarios which has become a major security threat in cities like Madrid in recent years.The unnamed detainee, wanted in connection with the death of 21-year-old Giovanny Rendon Bedoya in Walworth, south London, on April 21, was held as he entered a restaurant in the town of Sabadell around 15 miles north-west of the Catalan capital.
