Student athletes refuse to stay on awards podium with trans athlete

Two student athletes, Reese Eckard of Sherwood High School and Alexa Anderson of Tigard High School, stepped down from an awards podium at the Oregon State Championship in an apparent protest against a trans athlete. Eckard and Anderson placed third and fourth, ahead of the trans athlete in fifth.
