BGT star quits day job to walk to the Alps wearing ski boots for charity
A former Britain's Got Talent star has quit his day job to walk to the Alps wearing ski boots for charity.Reuben Gray was catapulted to fame in 2017 aged just 16, after a clip of his audition which has since racked up more than 38million views - went viral. But, he has now made the headlines for a very different reason. The now 24-year-old and his friend Exeter University alumnus Matt Brinkley, also 24, have pulled the plug on their stable nine to fives to attempt a grueling 801-mile trek from London to Val Thorens.Although the odds are already stacked against the pair, who face a hike professional athletes would struggle to complete, they have decided to take it one step further and will wear notoriously uncomfortable ski gear all the way to the finish line.
