De-extinction company plan on bringing back 230 kilo giant bird moa

When humans first arrived on New Zealand's islands, they encountered nine species of flightless birds known as moas. They were truly unique in the avian world as none of them had wings; not even vestigial structures. Within just 150 years, all were gone. But the moa lives on in the cultural memory of New Zealand as a symbol of wonder, loss, and possibility.
