'Stand up to Racism' protesters gathered in heart of London's financial hub

Scores of 'Stand up to Racism' protesters gathered in the heart of London's financial district holding signs stating: 'Refugees welcome: Stop the far right' and selling copies of the Socialist Worker. One pro-migrant campaigner was seen sporting a t-shirt stating: 'Stop Reform UK' t-shirt, while others were seen wearing Keffiyeh's - a type of Arabic scarf often worn by supporters of the pro-Palestine movement. Some of the chants being shouted by the protesters included: 'Say it loud, say it clear, refugees are welcome here' and 'Nazi scum off our streets'
