Hero cop killed in NYC mass shooting was expecting a child

NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch has confirmed that Didarul Islam, the hero police officer killed in a mass shooting in New York City, was a father of two and expecting a third child soon. Suspect Shane Tamura died at the site of the shooting.
