A gunman seen carrying an M4 assault rifle killed four people, including one police officer, when he opened fire in broad daylight in the heart of New York City, before he reportedly took his own life.New York City officials named the suspect as Shane Tamura, a 27-year-old from Nevada - he died of an "apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound", officials say.
