Flooding in NYC train stations causes commuter mayhem

Intense rain and flash flooding in New York City in the last week of July 2025 made for some very difficult commuting. Subway and commuter rail passengers were forced to use plastic bags as shoes, wade through knee-high water, and climb on gates.
