Coronation Street fans are stunned as soap icon makes a surprise return

Coronation Street fans were stunned to see the surprise return of a long-running soap favourite after an 18-month absence. Since the soap's inception in 1960, sites on the famous cobbles have become known by viewers across the nation, including the famous Rover's Return pub, the cafe Roy's Rolls and more recently-added Speed Dahl restaurant. And in the latest episode, fans were thrilled to see the famous corner shop The Kabin make a surprise cameo, its first appearance since February 2024. The hilarious scene showed undertaker George Shuttleworth emerging from the shop soaking wet, after being enlisted by Jenny Connor to fix her plumbing.
