Storm Podul wreaks havoc in Southern China with massive floods

Torrential rain in southern China have submerged Guangdong province. Several cars and motorbikes are left stranded in streets resembling rivers. The Foshan Meteorological Observatory issued red warning for heavy rainfall. Podul made landfall on Chinese coast of Fujian at 00:30 local time. Its residual vortex is now wreaking havoc in southern China.
