The world was left shaken this week, following the livestreamed death of French content creator Jean Pormanove, who was subjected to over 10 days of extreme violence and humiliation.French prosecutors have confirmed an investigation has been launched after claims from local media alleged the star endured sleep deprivation, brutal beatings and ingestion of toxic substances in the days leading up to his death.But now, Kick, the streaming platform that allowed the tragedy to be broadcast to at least 500,000 people has come under fire for not having strict enough guidelines in place to stop this disturbing content from being readily available.The site has been dubbed 'a playground for people to be degenerate', offering viewers the chance to watch animals being tortured, people being shot with paintballs and creators getting beaten on camera.
